Should you have any questions regarding the District functions or operations, you are invited to attend the meetings of the Board of Directors which are normally held on the second Monday and fourth Monday of each month at 21437 Clay Road, Katy, Tx 77449 at 6PM. Please contact our office at (281) 897-9100 to confirm since meetings are occasionally rescheduled.

The following neighborhoods are located within Harris County Municipal Utility District 71: Westland Creek Village, Lakes of Bridgewater, Bridgewater Point, Bridgewater Village, Enclave at Bridgewater, Mason Lakes, Morton Ranch, Bridgewater Meadow, The Lakes at Mason Park, Bridgewater Place, and Vineyard Meadow.

New Customer Information
New residents are required to pay a connection fee and provide a security deposit for their account. In addition to these fees, the District requires a signed service agreement on file.
Connection Fee: $25.00
Security Deposit: $200.00 *
* With proof of ownership deposit will reduce to $125.00.

Those customers not establishing service in person are required to provide a notarized copy of the Customer Service Agreement.
Online Payments
Harris County Municipal Utility District 71 has teamed up with First Billing Services to provide enhanced and additional payment options.
If water service has been terminated, please contact our office to obtain the correct reconnection balance. Any payments made to restore service must be reported to our office to initiate service restoration. Tampering with the meter or district utilities may result in additional fees.

Leak Adjustment
Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 71 (the "District") has adopted a Policy and Procedures for Leak Adjustment Credits (the "Policy") under which the District will consider permitting a credit because of loss of water through an "excusable defect" in the customer's water lines. Ground to Surface Water Conversion
What is the "WHCRW" Fee on my bill? Due to the growing population in the Houston metropolitan area the area has been forced to make a switch from ground water to surface water. The WHCRW Fee is assessed to pay for the new infrastructure required for the conversion. For more information on surface water conversion visit the WHCRW website at:
